National Health Center Week

- Monday, August 14, 2017 is Health Screening Day. Contact your local health center about coordinating a health screening for your program participants or encourage youth to volunteer at a local community health fair.
- Help youth in your program find health care in your area. View our Prezi presentation on connecting youth to clinical services and visit the Health Resources and Services Administration Website to find local, affordable clinics.
- Download this Community Guide fact sheet to learn about the benefits of school-based health centers for adolescent health.
- Encourage youth to meet with a health care provider so that they can stay well. Learn more about the importance of one-on-one time between a youth and a health care provider from this CDC tip sheet.
