Global Youth Traffic Safety Month

Global Youth Traffic Safety Month

Event Date:
Friday, May 1, 2020 (All day) to Sunday, May 31, 2020 (All day)

Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in the United States for youth ages 15 to 20. Every day, six teens die due to motor vehicle crashes, and many more are injured. To combat these staggering statistics, join us in observing Global Youth Traffic Safety Month this May.

The National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) pioneer this observance by sharing best practices and lessons learned over the years. Together, parents and communities can help educate young drivers about the dangers on the road and instill good driving habits.
