PREP: Building Community Engagement through Virtual Implementation for PREP Staff and Youth
While the COVID-19 pandemic has made maintaining engagement with partners, stakeholders, and grantees challenging, it has also presented opportunities for developing virtual interactions that could enhance implementation practices and expand partnerships. The purpose of the cluster call is to provide Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) grantees with an opportunity to dialogue with one another around obstacles they have experienced and how they have used virtual spaces during the COVID-19 pandemic to mitigate challenges and connect with key partners to support youth. The facilitator will talk through ways to promote virtual interactions. Grantees will have the opportunity to share important themes, lessons learned, and take-aways for their program. During this call, participants will:
- Identify challenges and opportunities with virtual formats;
- Share how virtual programs can expand access to information and support; and
- Discuss how programs can improve processes working across multidisciplinary partnerships.
