(SRAE) The Science of Hope and its Application to SRAE Programs
The Topical Training will focus on the science of hope—what it is, why it matters, how it can be applied to youth who have experienced trauma, how it can be measured, and how it can produce motivation and high expectations for the youth we serve. The training will explore the power of hope for youth as a protective factor in overcoming Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and as a motivating factor for personal and future success. Various aspects of the topic will be covered over the course of the three-day training, allowing grantees to better understand the science of hope and how to apply it to their programs. Grantees will be provided multiple opportunities to interact with the presenter throughout this multiday training.
Event runs August 24-26 from 1:00pm-4:30pm Eastern Time daily.
