SRAE Webinar: Providing Services to Youth in Foster Care and Juvenile Justice Systems

This webinar will provide insight into the approaches and tools needed to engage youth in foster care and juvenile justice systems in Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) programming. The webinar will also give an overview of the unique experiences and particular needs of youth involved in these systems and examine how grantees can partner with agencies to provide SRAE programming that accommodates those needs. The webinar will feature young people with lived experience in these systems who will share their insights and advice to help grantees implement programs in ways that best support this population. 

 At the conclusion of this 90-minute webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the experiences and needs of youth in foster care and juvenile justice systems.
  • Identify best practices, strategies, and opportunities to engage youth in foster care and juvenile justice systems in SRAE programming.
  • Learn about effective ways to partner with child welfare or juvenile justice agencies within their communities.
