Coffee Break: Designing survey items for youth
We have rescheduled the November Evaluation Coffee Break session to December 2. If you registered previously, please register again for the new session.
If your team is developing or using pre-post surveys, consider attending our upcoming session on designing survey items for youth.
The SRAENE technical assistance team is offering this series of “evaluation coffee break” sessions to support grant recipients conducting descriptive evaluation activities. Descriptive evaluation activities can include assessing program implementation, pre-post changes in youth outcomes, longer-term change in youth outcomes, or correlations between youth or program characteristics and outcomes.
In this 30-minute session, we will discuss tips for designing survey items for youth, including ways to find previously tested items and tips for drafting your own items. Even if your program has already created a survey, this session can help your team assess if you’re collecting the information needed to understand how your program is operating and how it is progressing towards its desired objectives.
We will have time for open discussion, so please bring your questions, challenges, and lessons learned about this topic to the session. Grant recipient staff and evaluators are welcome! Please forward this invite to your team.
Register here for the session on December 2 at 3:00pm ET.
