Pride Month
Event Date:
-
Pride Month is a time to celebrate the diverse identities within the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual and Two-Spirit (LGBTQIA2S+) community and their impact on history.
Despite ongoing efforts to address disparities, LGBTQIA2S+ youth continue to face unique challenges and social stigma—such as discrimination, harassment, or violence—which can put them at increased risk for negative health outcomes. Thus, we must work towards creating affirming and supportive environments to improve the health and well-being of LGBTQIA2S+ youth.
Together, let’s empower LGBTQIA2S+ youth and help them thrive!
