This webinar provides strategies and tips for facilitators to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. The presenter, Ivy Mack, MS, will share the benefits of having positive relationships and an asset-based mindset in the classroom, underlying factors that affect student behaviors, and components of a classroom management system. Ms. Mack will also provide an activity for participants to complete in small-group breakout rooms to help grantees learn how to create their own classroom management plans. Resources and templates will be provided that grantees can use in their own work with youth. 

At the conclusion of this 90-minute webinar, participants will be able to:

• Understand the influence of mindset and relationships on classroom management. 
• Understand the components of a classroom management system. 
• Collaborate with other participants to learn ways to respond to challenging behavior during program implementation.  
• Develop a positive and inclusive classroom management plan.
