Increasing Our Impact by Using a Social-Ecological Approach
This resource guide is designed to support building collaboration beyond the adolescent sexual and reproductive health field, by using the social-ecological model. This framework encourages educators to shift the focus from individual behavior to a broader understanding of the many factors that influence health outcomes, taking both an individual- and a population-level approach. Using the social-ecological model can help achieve better health outcomes for youth, including marginalized or vulnerable populations.
