Using PREP Programs to Develop Youth Leadership Skills

Youth leadership development is a process that prepares young people to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood through a coordinated, progressive series of activities and experiences which help them gain skills and competencies. Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) projects are uniquely positioned to offer opportunities for youth leadership development through offerings such as peer education and youth advisory boards and councils. This webinar reviews the dimensions of youth leadership and provide examples of youth leadership opportunities in four PREP Programs.
