Navigating Collective Trauma Through Collective Healing

Collective trauma is a broad term that can refer to a wide variety of experiences, including environmental disasters, violence, and pandemics. It can also refer to oppression and discrimination toward a minority group from a majority group. Addressing collective trauma through collective healing requires a collective, rather than individual, approach to supporting people and communities. Collective impact is a strategy that can support collective healing. Join this webinar to learn more about collective trauma, collective healing and collective impact. Participants have an opportunity to connect with other Personal Responsibility Education Program grantees about their experiences with these concepts and reflect on the types of partnerships that exist or are needed to advance this type of transformative healing-centered work. Participants will hear examples of how these principles can be practically applied.
