Grantees implementing PREP programs have expressed an interest in learning additional strategies to engage youth. The frequency of changing instructional venues in response to COVID-19, have created additional barriers to youth engagement. Classes previously held in-person have moved to virtual instruction and vice versa. Join the next TA Office Hours to talk with your TA providers and fellow grantees about strategies for engaging youth under these challenging circumstances.
This facilitated conversation will be framed around Qualities of Effective Sexual Risk Avoidance Education Facilitators. It will also provide an opportunity for grantees to share ideas and innovative strategies in small group discussions.
This 90-minute webinar will focus on practical ways to share survey results with key stakeholders such as parents, local business leaders, local service providers, schools, and policymakers to build program support. It will also assist SRAE facilitators to see the importance of clearly communicating key curricular concepts so that student progress toward optimal health is reflected in survey results.

This cluster call learning series will provide Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) grantees an opportunity to dialogue and exchange ideas with each other on topics related to program management—a critical aspect of ensuring compliance with PREP legislative and notice of funding opportunity requirements. The first call will focus on continuous quality improvement (CQI), including program adaptation and fidelity monitoring. The second call will focus on hiring and supporting program facilitators to ensure high-quality program implementation.

The Family and Youth Services Bureau will host a Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) Performance Measures webinar on October 7, 2021 for grantees funded in 2019 and earlier. The purpose of the webinar is to review the SRAE Performance Measures Dashboard, including new features related to participant entry and exit survey data.
High-quality evidence-based programs are essential to improving public health outcomes to reduce adolescent pregnancy. This two-part training webinar will explore innovative approaches to sustainability and other key factors that influence program success like program implementation, systems thinking, and health equity.
