This Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) Share and Learn session offers grantees an opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue and exchange ideas on critical topics related to staff onboarding and training. These sessions are vital for ensuring that both new and current team members are well-prepared, seamlessly integrated into the organization, and equipped with the essential knowledge and skills to thrive in their roles.
Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) grantees collect many different data, including data from participants, facilitators, and partners. Join this webinar to learn more about how you can use your data to share the story of your PREP project and to improve your programming. You will hear from the Family and Youth Services Bureau, Office of Policy and Performance, about how the indicators that are collected through Performance Measures might be helpful in identifying what is going well and where there are opportunities for improvements.

Have you wondered who the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) Technical Assistance (TA) providers are? What are their backgrounds? What are their skills and interests? To develop a community of TA Providers and PREP grantees, we will introduce you to them during this upcoming TA Office Hours. We will also talk about our goals and plans for this year and ways a TA Provider can assist you in meeting your project goals. Join the next TA Office Hours to meet the TA providers who will briefly introduce themselves and answer questions you may have.

Have you been hearing about Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education settings? Are you curious about using AI to support your Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) Program? Join us to learn more about how AI can support your SRAE objectives. This session will build on the introduction in the July session and will explore additional types of AI, resources for using AI, and the ethical implications of using AI. We will also consider potential shortcomings with AI and opportunities and challenges that AI can create for our work with youth.
This topical training was held on November 19-20, 2024, in Charlotte, North Carolina. During this training, attendees learned how trauma presents in youth aged 10-19, trauma theories and brainstormed how trauma informed principles can be applied to facilitation.

The SRAENE technical assistance team is continuing a short series of “evaluation coffee break” sessions to support grant recipients conducting descriptive evaluation activities. Descriptive evaluation activities can include assessing program implementation, pre-post changes in youth outcomes, longer-term change in youth outcomes, or correlations between youth or program characteristics and outcomes.
To help SRAE grant recipients learn from each other’s experiences working with Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), FYSB is hosting a Community of Practice on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. ET. We encourage grant recipients to attend this session if they either (1) have experiences working with IRBs that other SRAE grant recipients could learn from or (2) would like to learn from others on working with IRBs.
During this webinar, we will introduce you to the Tribal PREP Analysis Plan Template that you will use to complete your analysis plans. After a brief overview, we will walk through each section of the template and provide guidance on what you should include. We will also discuss how our LES team can help you to complete the template and answer any questions from the group.

Mentoring has been shown to improve outcomes related to mental health, sexual health, overall well-being and education for youth. It is also an opportunity for youth to develop supportive relationships with adults outside of their families. Mentoring can be a way to extend the impact of your Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP). During this Share and Learn we will discuss specific strategies and practices that can be used to incorporate a mentoring component in your program.
FYSB will provide grantees with a comprehensive overview of the following:
