This listening session is for all SRAE grantees funded prior to fall 2023 and their partners, including subrecipient program providers and evaluation staff who are responsible for collecting and submitting performance measures data.

The Tribal PREP LES team will host another Community of Learning (CoL) for all Tribal PREP Grantees on Thursday, February 22nd from 3:00 – 4:00 pm ET. Our CoL sessions give you an opportunity to learn, share, ask questions, and brainstorm the best strategies for your own project, together with other grantees and evaluators.

The CoL sessions provide an opportunity for grantees and evaluators to share their ideas and learn from each other. The topic for the upcoming CoL is Evaluation Recruitment. In this session, we hope grantees will share their recruitment challenges and help each other find solutions. This session will give you an opportunity to ask questions and brainstorm best strategies for your own project!

During these office hours, we will cover how CQI relates to and differs from fidelity monitoring and evaluation. We will discuss CQI frameworks and strategies for initiating, implementing, and building support for CQI within your organization.

Participant recruitment is a critical component of successful Personal Responsibility Education Programs (PREP) and requires planning and attention. Similarly, keeping youth engaged and connected during programming is important for program fidelity and ensuring youth receive the benefits of the program. During this webinar, attendees will hear from grantees that are working in non-school settings about how they are recruiting and retaining youth in their PREP programs. We will also discuss best practices and steps grantees can take to enhance their recruitment and retention practices.

This webinar will explore concepts, approaches, and recommendations to mitigate distrust, misinformation, and other challenges that surround sexual health programming. Presenters will explore mental models, trust and community engagement, including the impact these factors have on public engagement and community support. Next, they will examine the three pillars of community support and provide recommendations to help grantees navigate challenges that often impede or distract from Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) programming.
