Having a sustainability plan is a significant piece of the success and longevity of your PREP program. Yes, sustainability is about having funding to sustain your programs in the absence of FYSB funding, but it is more than just that. A well thought out sustainability plan has several components, including community buy in, collaborations, and branding—which should all be considered from the onset of your grant. Grantees have expressed challenges in developing a sustainability plan that go beyond funding and want to hear examples of how others approach sustainability.
